The Discovery Bowling Club was officially opened in 1956. The Club has three top rated bowling greens and over 200 members ranging in age from 12 to 95.

The club has a proud history and has been part of the community for over 62 years

Club members compete in local, national and international competitions. The club is home to many Inter Provincial and Protea players and has achieved success at district, provincial and national and international level.

Discovery Bowling Club is open to and welcomes new members of all ages and is a great family activity.

Bowls Clinics are held on Saturday morning to introduce new bowlers to the game. Social bowls is played on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and some Public Holidays.

Discovery Bowling Club is now not only a bowling club, but also a community centre.

We are also the perfect venue to host Corporate days, weddings, birthdays and community-based events and local community activities.
